About Chef Sakari
The chef behind the tools.
Sakari Smithwick has spent his life in the kitchen. From facing down Gordon Ramsay on Hell's Kitchen to trading plates on Food Network's Chopped, he has cooked under the brightest lights in the business — and under the toughest standards in the industry.
Before the cameras, Sakari trained in some of New York's most demanding dining rooms, including Marea and Eleven Madison Park, earning a Michelin star at just 24. Those kitchens taught him something most home cooks never get to learn: great tools are not a luxury. They are the difference between a dish you are proud of and one you are not.
Today Sakari is the author of "Savor Your Journey" and the founder of Smithwick Provisions — chef-designed tools, small-batch merch, and a mission bigger than any single plate.
